The Cromarty Hall in St. Margaret's Hope is hosting a Book Fair on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th November.
The OAS will have a stall with OAS publications and more available for purchase.

8th November OAS Talk "The Afterlife of Brochs: The evidence from the Cairns 2012"

The talk will be held in the Lecture theatre , Orkney College UHI, Kirkwall at 7:30pm

Martin Carruthers, director of the Cairns Excavation, will give a talk on the conclusions being drawn from this season's excavation at the Cairns.

Members £2.00 Non-Members £3.00 All are welcome.

21st November OAS Talk "Looking Back on the Scapa Flow Landscape Partnership Scheme"

The talk will be held in the St. Magnus Centre, Kirkwall at 7:30 pm.

Julian Branscombe will give a talk looking at the history and achievements of the Scapa Flow Landscape Partnership.

Weekly WHS Ranger walks

The free walk at the Ring of Brodgar guided by the World Heritage Site Rangers will continue throughout the autumn and winter weekly on each THURSDAY ( meet 13:00 at the Ring of Brodgar car park). The Rangers are also for the first time continuing the free guided walk around the Standing Stones of Stenness and the Barnhouse Neolithic village throughout the autumn and winter at 10:00 each Wednesday starting from the Standing Stones of Stenness car park.
