The Cairns, South Ronaldsay
Martin Carruthers and team will be back digging at the amazing Iron Age broch site at the Cairns, above Windwick Bay in South Ronaldsay. The dig runs from 15th June to the 10th July 2015 and visitors are welcome Monday to Friday. There will be an open day at a date to be confirmed. If you've been to the Broch of Gurness you'll love this!

Knowe of Swandro, Rousay
Steve Dockrill & Julie Bond & their team return to the Knowe of Swandro in late June
Visitors are very welcome from the 24th June until the 23rd July 2015. The site is open to the public Sunday to Thursday inclusive from 10am to 4pm (except in exceptionally bad weather). There will be an open day on Sunday the 19th July
Please note that you should park at the Midhowe car park and walk in from the Midhowe tomb end – please do NOT come via Westness farm. Dogs must be on a lead at all times due to livestock in surrounding fields.

Ness of Brodgar, Stenness
Nick Card & team will be back at the Ness from the 6th July to the 28th of August. The site will open to visitors from Wednesday 8th July until Wednesday 26th August, with information boards etc. and visitors are welcome at any time when the staff are on site. Please note no access to the site is permitted without staff present. On Saturdays and Sundays although there won’t be diggers on site, there will be access via free site tours, usually at 11am and 3pm, but please see the website and dig diary for more information
